Should Have Listened
Oh my,Nancy. You were nice,but….. I booked online and got a site I know it would work for us, when we got there ,we had a site change. Ok ,but it was too short. After being sent to two other sites, WE found one. Of course it happened to be an elite site. Who knew? We fit. After speaking with Nancy they said OK ,sorry and no further charges. That was appropriate ..but wait, Nancy called me back and said sorry we had to pay the difference for the elite site. Really? We will not be coming back. The hook ups were fine. The sites, most are tight and difficult. Dumpsters? Few and very far.
Don’t ignore the other reviews like I did!

Not Very Good
Wouldn’t recommend. Took an hour to find our spot and only found it with help from residents. Lots are numbered but not many are visible. Even someone who lived there permanently had a little trouble finding our dumpy spot. Forgot to ask about WiFi and we were given no info about it. Maybe they don’t have it.
All in all if you don’t mind being cramped in and dumpy lots this place might be for you.

Disappointed
Very run down. Our campsite was a patch of grass with a concrete square. No picnic table. Cable didn't work. We were wedged between two mobile homes. No privacy. I would not go here again.

Not Big Rig friendly
We stayed 4 nights. We have a 43ft coach pulling a 24ft enclosed car trailer. They put us in the west Circle up against the building. The back of the coach was just over their patio. The front of my coach was 1ft off the road. To back into this spot. I had to drive my coach up to the park model front door. Which was in front of us. Yep tore up their yard. Then had to back the trailer in next to us, between trees. This place is packed in like sardines. Roads are just wide enough for the coach to squeeze through. Will never return.

Close To The Beach
We stayed there 4 times, and we absolutely love the proximity to the beach, the staff also is very helpful, some of the amenities are outdated, but in good working conditions, we definitely will come back.

No Sewer Hookup
We are Thousand Trails members and reserved our spot a couple months prior to arriving. The front desk was friendly but laughed and said they never move people. "It would take us moving 1000 people to get you hookups." That math seems exaggerated, but we still made it work. We dumped the night we arrived at the dump station near our site. And the sewer truck came by on Tuesday.
The pool was closed for maintenance. The mini golf and playground look ok from the road but are in sad shape.
The campground smelled like sewage at times when we walked around. Pretty sure at one point our neighbor (also no sewer hookup) was dumping his grey tank onto the ground. Probably didn't help our soggy, muddy site.
We also had several neighbors smoking marijuana so we didn't love letting our kids play outside around the rig.
It was nice to have a "free" spot to stay, but this is not a place I would recommend to other Thousand Trails members unless you can get a guaranteed full hookup site.

Very clean, close to track and shops.
We stay at alot of encore parks.
We booked for a week, they put us in sites with no sewer.
When you book on line and book full hook ups, there is no guarantee that you'll get sewer, even when you pay the extra for sewer. Paperwork say all sites first come first serve. That's not stated on the website.
They have a honey truck that comes by twice a week. Unknown to 90% of the guests we've talked too.
