Horrible Traffic And Train Noise

Santos Campground is small with decent spacing between sites but little privacy. Electric and water at sites, dump station, hot showers and flush toilets, clean but older bathrooms. Next to bike trails and FL trail. Nice place except for the extreme traffic noise (next to a 4 lane highway) that starts before sunrise and continues till late in the night. Train horns throughout the night as well. So noisy, will not return.

Our first time at this campground as it was close and our first trip with our new pop up. It is nicely maintained, staff is friendly and helpful, bathrooms are clean and spacious, though we didn’t shower while we were there, sites don’t give much privacy. The problem is that it is right next to a main highway and you get lots of road noise, trucks, motorcycles,etc. There is also a train that runs frequently ( especially at night!) next to the park. One of the noisiest parks we have stayed at. It is well known for biking recreation and though we don’t bike I’m sure that is their specialty. We personally would not stay here again. If you’re looking for peace and tranquillity this is not the place.
