The Big Secret!
Firstly, I wanted to point out this review is for ALEXANDER SPRINGS, not Juniper, which is maybe 7 miles away.
Seems once you submit ONE review, you cannot edit or add another🤪 I had previously reviewed ALEXANDER and I wanted to edit or re-submit.
Once in a National Forest park, you’ll soon realize there are permanent campsites. I don’t know if they’re staff staying here but the party atmosphere seems alive and well here at ALEXANDER. I arrived on a Monday for a 2 night stay. The staff are very helpful and seemingly love their jobs, that’s ONE good thing.
The Big Secret is this…ALL sites have a drinking water faucet, fire ring and picnic table, that’s good.
Campgrounds in NF sell wood that EVAPORATES! No, literally, an entire $13 bundle MIGHT last about an hour…strangest thing I ever saw. The grounds around your and every other site are picked clean of any kindling to start your one hour fire as well.
I’ve enclosed several pics, that show the sad looking showers/restrooms.

A beautiful park with springs. Huge pull-through sites that are very private. Busy with lots of families so book ahead if going on a weekend. Unfortunately very dog-restrictive for a national forest.
