We stayed here in Nov. 2022 and there have been many improvements to this campground. I live local and was aware that there had been problems with some of the people who stayed here long term, making the park a less than welcome place to stay. They will soon be implementing an even shorter duration for length of stay - our neighbor at the park said it had been 6 months and was now going to be 90 days.
But the park itself was a lovely, clean, well maintained and the ranger was a very visible presence . There were a ton of activities going on in the park itself: weekly farmers market, a job fair, a club where a group was sailing remote controlled sailboats, Mom's and kids, a fitness trail. There is a lovely huge, new senior center on the grounds. We rode our bikes to a great pizza place. The park had great riding and walking trails. I can't say enough good things about this gem. Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. And the price can't be beat! 5 stars from us.

Great if you like meth cooks
This place was nothing but scary! The park is nice and the spaces are huge, but good luck with the neighbors. This place has lots of long term tents (blue tarps.) The people living in the tarps seem like they are cooking meth. The tarp are run down with random garbage all over the site. We got more than one “look” as we drove by a few of the tents. While walking our dog one of the tarp people’s pit bulls would have attacked our dogs but he was attached to a large chain!
The campgrounds had lots of traffic coming and going to rundown trailers (drug deals) all hours of the night. All of the cars would pull up to a trailer somebody would come out or go in and no more than a minute later they were gone. This was the only place we have ever stayed where we felt like we had to lock up our trailer and put all our chairs, rugs, and coolers away. We spoked to the park rangers who said they can’t stop the trap people and have problems with them all the time. Camper beware.
