One of our Favorites!
We stayed a week in Feb & it was BEAUTIFUL. For such a large campground, we found it delightful. There's LOTS of trees & shrubs, so you don't see many others, the noise is mostly muffled, and it's very lush! There's LOTS of areas to bike, including secluded ponds, the lake, & the beach. The bathroom situation is variable - the one at row "S" only had 1 stall, but another a few lanes over had several.
Not sure why some reviewers were frustrated, but maybe it's seasonal visitors or rowdy individuals, but that can happen anywhere. We were here over Presidents Day weekend, and it was full, but filled with "family fun" sounds. The park has an entry gate & the campground is code-secured, so it's pretty secure that way.
Would recommend this for sure❣️

This Places Is Awful
They don’t take same days reservations. The office never picks up the phone. I arrived at about 6 and was told to go to a Walmart parking lot. Eff you.

Camping
We love this park with so much to do. We have had many trips there and we live in Jacksonville. Weekends are at capacity but many sites go empty but show reserved, I would suggest if someone doesn’t show up they need to give the site up to someone on a wait list. Roads are narrow but so far we have not had too many problems. We have experience that sites do flood with several inches of water after rain and we now keep track of those sites. The Hosts are stationed at most lanes and have been helpful to us. When we had to make changes our emails were responded to within hours.
We would recommend this for families as there is a splash park and many other amenities.

Interesting Park
We camped here for a week. M-T was nice, weekend was a huge party. It is a narrow area to navigate if you have a large rig. I did not observe any of the rules being enforced. I would camp here again but not on a weekend.

Hard To Reach
Website does not allow same day reservation. Park staff don't answer the phone. They require arrival prior to 9pm or you are out of luck even with reservation. Might be a nice park but to many obstacles to make it worth finding out.

Paradise
We stayed there in March. Other than the weather not cooperating, it is like camping in a tropical paradise. Yes, after heavy rains there is some ponding water. This is because Florida is flat, especially by the shore. If you like to camp in nature right next to the ocean, I highly recommend this place.

Beware
I have stayed here many times. Park is beautiful but many flood zones. Some sites are very nice. Price is high for what you get. Don't try to call. Getting ahold of front office is extremely hard. Best to email or get your reservation online. Also i had multiple reservations and when covid was first hitting they "evacuated" everyone in the park. I still have not received my refund even though I have contacted them multiple times.

Beautiful
This is a pretty amazing park- lush campsites surrounded by natural beauty. Felt like we were camping in a jungle. Amazing beach, a lake filled with birds, fish, and... gators? All within a short walk or bike ride of your campsite. We stayed for a few days and are making this a return destination. Full hookups, laundry, (bathrooms if needed), and a camp store. Excellent rates- we paid $30. for full hookups. Look at a campground map prior to making reservations; our rig is 33’ and we had an excellent large site with lots of privacy, but some are narrow and don’t leave much room for an extra vehicle if you’re towing.
