Close to ocean beaches. Clean well run park. River campsites provide best experience. 15 minutes to good good stores.

JD River Campground
I agree that the river campground is great. Plenty of wildlife to see. There are paved and unpaved campsites to choose from. A trip up the Loxahatchee to Trapper Nelsons is an extra special experience.

Try and get a river site as they are better than the sites at front of park. Great access to Loxahatchee River for boating and fishing. Kayak Rentals if you don't have your own equipment. Equestrian campsites and park horses available for trail riding. Book early as it's hard to get a site during season.
