Pine Grove Campground
This campground is new and very nice. The sites are all very large, most with trees in between for privacy. All are level with gravel and most are full hookup. Any site in the Pine Grove campground would be fine. The only down side is there aren't any shade trees, and all sites have full sun exposure. Bathrooms are clean, and there is one washer and dryer at each bath house that are clean and operable. Definitely avoid the old River Campground. If that was the only option to camp at this state park, I would not stay. That's all I can say about that... 😬

Great Time
We stayed at site 80, full hookups, power was 50/30/20. Used the 50 amp with no problems, running two a/c units 15k and 13.5k. Water pressure was 40 to 60 but seam to very based on usage of others. We used our pressure regulators. Gravel site was level and maintained. Fire ring has bricks under it so it can't be moved. Bathhouse has a family shower, very clean and great for taking the young kids to get them all cleaned up.
We rode our ebikes all over the park and had a great time. If you like geocashing there is more than you can get in a week.
We went to sailfish splash water park with the grand kids. Prices are fair compared to the bigger parks. Stopped by some local beaches to check it out. Its not the white sand that florida is known for. I would not waste my time. Jupiter is a great place to get food and see the light house. Publix, walmart, home depot are near buy. Ice is $3.59 for 16 lbs at publix.
I would highly recommend this park.

Excellent!
We stayed in the campground near the park entrance and had great cellphone coverage. Site #73 was perfect for us. All sites were nice and the restrooms/showers were 1st class. We were visited 3 times at our very site by Florida scrub-jays. A few site, including ours had sewer hook ups. Staff was excellent.

We LOVED this campground! Sites were large enough for 2 and well spaced apart! Could only get 1 night but will definitely go back! FL has an amazing state park program!
And you can’t beat the price!

WILL NEVER CAMP IN RIVER CAMPGROUND AGAIN. Site 110 was not level, all sand, no grass, with biting gnats and sand fleas. had to walk through tall weeds to get to the bathroom. They need to fill the site with gravel and mow the grass. Left early, No way I would have stayed with rain forecasted for the night. Would rate it a zero if I could have.

Great Spot - Must Stay
This place is phenomenal. Lots of room between rvs and campsites some even have little sandy/rocky plots. Very clean facilities and plenty of areas for dogs. Very dog friendly with lots of clean up stations. Areas to hang hammock and lots or activities. The park has different areas that allow for biking, trail walking, site seeing and more. It is of course very hot here so make sure you have shade structures.

Great Campground
Very nice facilities for both RV and tents. RV sites are nice and level, lots to do if you are into biking, walking, canoeing and wildlife viewing. Not far from a leash free dog beach.

Very large sites. Not much foliage due to fire a few years back. Spacious, clean, great biking and hiking. Almost always breezy. Full hookup.
