Good for a night or two stop over

Definitely not suited for a long stay but it is a good stop over on your travels. Has laundry and bath house on site but not much else. Publix grocery store is in walking distance along with a Wendy's. It is near train tracks and you WILL hear trains. When arriving from North on Hwy 1, look for the Wendy's on the right. Right turn is immediately after that on Sunny Lane. It can sneak up on you so start looking after passing intersection of Hwy 1 and N Causeway (A1A). Follow around and enter first gated back entrance. Second front entrance is 150ish feet further on right hand side of Hwy 1. Gravel lot w/ concrete picnic pad. Fire rings, good WiFi, attentive staff, shopping and attractions in biking distance.

Good Short Stay

We stayed two nights on our way down to the keys. On the plus side, it's close to beaches and some other interesting places. On the negative side it's really small, no pool, and really loud (on a major road, near an airport and next to train tracks). Good for a quick stop, but couldn't see staying very long.

Very Noisy!!!

The description in the KOA book calls this a hidden GEM !!! And it's supposed to be the best small campground in America! Well, the campsite isn't too bad, very basic, and small. No pool, it does have a K9 camp, nothing fancy. But if you are looking for peace and quit and relaxation...this is not the place to be. Road noise all the time, motorcycles and loud cars going by. And then there is the train which sounds very close. So not for a long stay. We just stayed 1 night. What we liked best was the bathroom...very clean with shower, toilet and sink all in one. Very nice shower head. Entrance with code.

Stay At The Rest Stop On 95.

We stayed because it is a KOA and has a decent rating. I wouldn't stay here again. I figured it is a KOA and at least there's a dog park....well it has holes in the fence and the dogs can get out. The campers are tight...and I have a 19'.... You are right off highway 1 and easily hear the traffic and sirens.....and then the trains....not the place for a good night sleep. It was a clean SMALL park.

A Terrific Break

We needed work done on our pull vehicle and could not go on without getting it done. With very little expectation we pulled into the smallest KOA in the country!! Excellent professional and friendly staff!!! So grateful and impressed with the quiet, lovely space and clean facilities. Plenty of space to walk dogs. We actually extended an extra day and the staff could not have been more accommodating....the beaches are beautiful!! UDT SEAL Museum is a must see and there are some great tiki bars and lunch spots. Publix is next door. Thank you littlest KOA!

Trains all night

For $50/night you do not get much. It's clean with full hookups, Publix grocery next door, and trains every 20-30 minutes all night long. Easy access off US 1, which then can be noisy at times.

Small But Met The Need

This KOA is not for the camper that wants all amenities at a typical KOA. You are staying here because it is close to the beach, A1A, and many other outdoor activities. There is a publix for groceries next door and a Wendy's; bother within walking distance. It's unfortunate since there is an empty lot twice the size next door. Why the owner doesn't buy it and make this into a great, presidential candidate KOA is besides me.

Unbelievable it's a parking lot you camp in small camp no activities and the office is closed at 5 so if your in after that your on your own fairly nice bathroom thank goodness for stores nearby not worth the money
