Flagler By the Sea..... campground is very adequate but the location is amazing! The sites are tight but we found we were just at the site for meals and sleep. Restrooms were clean. The beach is picture perfect for days of relaxing, reading, or fishing!

Call Before Arriving

I reserved a spot with an ocean view almost a month in advance. I called a few days before arriving to find out they had given my spot to someone else. Then I was given another spot over the phone. When I arrived, there was someone in my reserved space. So I was given a 3rd spot which happened to be available on a Saturday night (I was close to having to boondock it somewhere else last minute because of all of this). Needless to say, their old school paper calender isn't working well, so call a few times before you arrive. Minus the crazy reservation problems, the place is nice, small, allows dogs, and is steps from the beach (dog friendly too!). The traffic is a bit noisy so the ocean view may be worth the extra $.

Very down home campground. It is small with only 31 sites. The best thing is it is right on the ocean and the price is very reasonable. The host is very friendly I have stayed there twice this year and will return. Camp in an airstream ????
