Amazing Except

The place wonderful. Not crowded lovely spaces. Clean bathroom. The swamp hike is a must see absolutely beautiful. BUT, the yellow flies where quite unbearable. There are several things that can be done to minimize the amount of flies we experienced. We couldn't fully enjoy the lovely surroundings. Even knowing ahead of time we could have been better prepared. AND the red clay road coming in was a bit rough with it's fisures from all the rain. Over all we will be back it's a wonderful place

Great spot and only 40 minutes up the road. Some spots are great, one is positioned backwards from the flow of the road (spot 13). One pull-through spot is impossible to pull-through. (Spot 5). If you know which spot to get though, it's perfect. Spot 10, 12, 7, 3 are great pull-through spots. 12 is not water front though. Spots 14, 9 and 8 are very good back in spots. Great hiking trails, great biking and kayaking Verizon cell phone service is the only service that works.
