Great no frills rustic wooded campground with electric and water and picnic table and fire pit and showers. What more do you need Firewood seller on road to campground is great.

Our Favorite Thus Far

We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary with our Travel Trailer. We’ve been on 15 trips in one year and twice to this park. We’ve stayed at a dozen or more Florida State Parks and this one has become our favorite. Next time we are bringing our Kayaks because the water is BEAUTIFUL!! The sites are all easy to back into, and almost all of them back up to the woods with more trails than you can cover in a weekend! Lots of dogs and friendly people every time. Roads are safe for kids to bike around the park!

Nice Campground

We arrived on Saturday evening and had our choice of sites, as we were 1 of 2 campers there. I assume September is off season. Slight traffic noise but the white noise of our AC made it a nonissue. Nice sites with plenty of space between them. Dump Station is being rebuilt by park entrance and may be ready in October.

Our campsite was not level but they working on leveling them. Bathhouse was ok. Great hiking and bike trails nearby.

Has Electricity

I plugged into the free electric and water and it made our weekend in the family tent awesome. No extra fee for slots with elec & water.
