Rates
Rates at $80 a night. I'm sure it's a nice place but at such a high price, a family could hardly afford to stay here.

Undergoing renovations
The park is closed for major renovatoins. I was told they will probably open back up around the beginning of 2021. Restaurant is still open.

Second time we have been to this park. Much improved from the last visit, 2 years ago and after hurricane. No cabin many camping spot good water and sanitation. Close to the beach but no WiFi.

Quaint Backwoods Park
Lowest rates in the area and highest vacancy, even on spring break week. Restaurant and cabins look great, some remodeling on other facilities. Lots of old mobile homes. Picnic tables too weathered to use. Almost quiet, some drone from freeway, otherwise restful location.

Not As Described!!
Very Rustic. The 50 amp circuit does not have any breaker switches at the campsite. The sites are very tight, and almost impossible to navigate into. The campsites are with low hanging trees, and there appears to be no maintenence. There are several large dogs (Pitbulls) and we saw dog feces everywhere. This campground has huge potential, but needs management and heavy maintenance efforts. The capmsite we were on backs up to the river, and had not been maintained, cigarette butts everywhere.
On a good note the place has good potential.
