Nice Campground
We stayed here for a week and got to see the park fill up for the weekend and then empty out. Sites are all different sizes but not on top of each other. There is a nice canopy of trees for shade all threw the campground. There is a big pavilion and play ground between the A and B loops that gets used by kids all day during the weekend. Each loop has a small dock at the pond for putting in kayaks or canoes. The pond is beautiful with a nature center on the other side and trails all around. Well worth the stay

Perfect
What a perfect stay. We were in a back-in site #21 on loop C water view. Beautiful. Great bike trail. We camped in a 30ft Class A with tow. We have Verizon, AT&T and Pure Talk service was good. There is a small store connected to the office. Nice play area for the kids and disc golf. If back in the area, this will be our go to. Definitely recommend. Happy Trails

Great Stay
This was our inaugural trip with our camper. Very helpful staff. The park was great. Very few mosquitoes or flies in the campsite area, however bad biting flies above the camping area on the Bob trail. Very hot the week we stayed but the whole camping area is wooded and provided great shade. We'll definitely be back. Probably when it's cooler.

Outstanding!
This location has so much to do for the naturalists. Get you kids off the cell phone and take a hike here. For $20 a night it is the best value on the Eastern shore. I would give it 5 stars but like most state parks no sewer hook up. Does have dump stations and bath houses. The C loop is open all years with FF connections.

My Favorite Eastern Shore Park
If you like a choice of activities, you should make reservations for a weekend. You can kayak, canoe, paddle boat or ride a ranger driven pontoon boat into a cypress swamp. Rangers explain low mosquito level to abundance of dragonfly's. Like to bike, campground loans one speed cruises without charge for one hour which is enough to circle the park on very level Bob's Trail. Some Saturday nights include a free concert shown in image of a crowd facing a band on the Nature CTR porch. Try for a pull through loop site. My site C-27 felt cramped.
