Roamer
Wel kept campground. Many pull through sites available but you need to make reservations. Tent sites and boondocking sites available. I-70 on one side and train tracks on the otherside of the river. Too noisy for my wife and I but still managed to sleep at night. Would have rated a 5 but for the noise.

Nice Overnight Stopover
Be sure to take exit 47 off hwy70. Google maps took us through town to a machine shop. Paved & Gravel spots & each spot has a picnic table with shelter. It is located in a beautiful valley. Nice paved roads throughout. 4* due to road noice. Nice place for an overnight.

Beautiful Scenery But I-70 ROAD Noise
Nice scenery. Has 2 stocked trout pounds, a swim beach. River in trails. Great place to bike, fish and relax. Road nose and train noise is constant though. Ranger station has fishing poles to lend out for the kids.
We did full hookup. Big spots, pull throughs and well maintained.

Great Place But It's A Cookie Cutter
Extremely clean and well maintained. Pull throughs with electricity sewer and water. Shade structures fire pits and barbecues. The only thing that is a pain is you have to make reservations in advance full hookups cost us $35 plus a $9 Park fee. Don't leave anything outside cuz the sprinklers come on nightly. Trains on one side and freeway on the other not real noisy but it is there.

Clean/well Maintained
The area and sites are well maintained and clean. Each site has a picnic table with tin shade structure which is great because it was really hot when we went. We had an RV with electric hookup only. Nice trail along the Colorado river and several water areas to walk around or play in with kids. Bring bug spray! Definitely got bit even with some bug spray on. Built in fire pits and most importantly great views! Can still hear highway noise just a tad but it’s not bad, kind of like white noise. Really nice spot. Would definitely stay again!

Very Pretty
The area is very pretty and sits right on the Colorado River. Sites have some grass, a concrete area with a picnic table and shelter. There is a grill and a fire pit. Our site was electric only for $24/ nite plus $7 park pass. There is a spot to get water and to dump. Full service sites are $28 + $7. Nestled between I-70 and the train track you do have Noise. Luckily the train didn’t blow its whistle when going thru.

Beautiful Campsite
This is a treasure of a spot. Stopped for the night while heading west, located along the Colorado River. Trains do go thru at night but we heard more noise from I70 than we did the train. Still a spectacular place, makes you appreciate state parks.

Beautiful Mountains
Easy on and off of I70. Empty on a weeknight. Great sites with shelters and beautiful view of mountains. You can imagine the highway noise is the Colorado River.
