Great Location

This park is 1/2 mile from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Very convenient. Gravel sites with picnic tables. No fire rings. Near the highway and the noise was a bit annoying. We were up on a hill and apparently there was a water leak that they had dug up the site to find the leak. They halted repair since we were camped there. They should have closed that site until the repair was completed. We had a giant hole to make sure we didn’t fall into. Moving us to a different site would have been nice, but they were pretty full. The staff were very friendly. They had the cleanest laundry facilities I have ever seen. There was always someone cleaning and wiping things down. We constantly saw staff tending to the grounds. There are 2 hot tubs and a heated pool. We did not use either. Full hook ups. Overall its a nice campground.

Just spent 4 nights here, great park. Staff was super friendly, park is right along the highway, road noise Not an issue. Easy to navigate park in a 42 cl A. Wifi could have been better but not a deal breaker. Definitely would stay again.

Deserves All It 4 And 5 Star Reviews

I have to agree with everyone else. This is a nice little park with awesome helpful staff, great shade, and super convenient to Mesa Verde National Park. Definite do again, if we are in the area. Next time we will use this as a base camp for more things instead of Buff. Also they give a generous military discount.

Very Nice Park

Very nice campground. If you saw the description on Google maps that says “spartan retreat”, it is NOT spartan. It has all the amenities and then some. The campground is well designed and well maintained. It’s in a pretty location with lots of green space. Roads are wide crushed stone and were easy to navigate in our 40ft motor home. All utilities worked as expected. WiFi was good and we had one bar on T-Mobile. Laundry was spotless. Sites are generously sized. Customer service is above excellent. We had booked a standard site and when we checked in they offered us a premium pull through at no extra charge since they had one available. Located just a couple of miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde NP. I highly recommend this campground.

One of our favorites. Great hosts. Great park. Close to the sites. Lisa went above and beyond to help us out of a major pickle. Thank you!! We will stay here again.

Excellent Park

Agree w/most previous reviews. Hate to give this RV park a 5, because then everyone will want to come, making it difficult to get a site. Having said this, they definitely deserve a 5.

Extra Clean And A Fabulous Staff

Convenient to Mesa Verde and Durango area

Good Stop.

Clean and comfortable. Easy to get into. Easy access to Mesa Verde. Very quiet at night. Very polite staff. I slept well there.

Great Bathrooms & Location, Poor WiFi

Very close to Mesa Verde NP entrance. Excellent bathrooms and showers. Pool looked good also. Pull through a little tight and close, but worked. Although WIFI not highest priority, it was a disappointment here. I had to go on to my phone’s hot spot to write this review. WiFi signal strong but the transfer rate is slow slow you can’t do much. Makes planning next stops difficult.

Great Access To Mesa Verde

Right across the Hwy from the park. Clean and everything worked. Friendly staff and good grounds. Lots of trees and nice dog walk. Tip: use your awning or the birds in the trees will bomb your stuff. ENJOY!

Nice Clean

Nice staff in out for the night Great showers clean hot water super clean . The hot tub well was kind dirty milky looking water

Two Night Stay

Very nice little spot 1/2 mile from Mesa Verde National Park. Clean bathrooms and showers. Kids loved there was WiFi. $1.75 for a load of laundry; had to break it up into 2 loads but it all fit in one dryer ($1.50). Hot tub was open. Used the propane grill they provided. Would recommend this site to others.

Awesome RV Park, Amazing Staff!

Convenient location between Cortez and Mancos right outside Mesa Verde entrance. Lots of trees, no problem getting our 38 foot 5th wheel into a pull-through. Friendly staff who treat you like family. Maintained as well or better than any other RV parks we have been to. Hot tubs are kept spotless. Only drawback is highway noise, but no worse than any other RV park as close to a highway.

Beautiful setting across the highway from the national park. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained, would stay here again. Good discounts.

Very clean. Quaint. Location was excellent for checking out Mesa Verde national park. Bathrooms were very nice. People were wonderful.

Easy Access To Mesa Verde National Park

The park is clean, the laundry was awesome and the owners and staff were friendly. The pull thru sites are a little tight, but we had good shade and great views! We would stay here again.

Outstanding!

We can't say enough about this park. Friendly, flexible, helpful. Easy access to Mesa Verde and Durango. Propane on site, just drop off your tanks, they'll fill and drop off at your site. Wide open spaces to walk. Nice play ground.

Stayed here in September. Very nice park. Great place to walk our dogs. Everyone was super nice in the office.
