Great Reservation Policy
The new reservation policy is you can only make reservations for dates ten days or more in the future. The website shows how many sites are available in real time so its easy to know if you will be able to get a first come first served site before you drive up. Saturday October 1 there were over 30 sites available that morning

Oasis near the big city
Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. Good time of year. Park still pretty empty. Site 27 accomodated 2 vans and close to restrooms with river view. If you are near the water there are mosquitos. And a lot of pollen floating around the campground. Bathrooms did not impress. Used a water spigot at a campsite nearby because the bathroom sinks barely let out a drop. Lots of space and walkability. Lots of birds! Beware of rattlesnake signs. Sites mostly asphault and definitely not the most level.

Nice park. Sites are roomy enough with electric and water, but beware, most RV sites are not level. Bathrooms are little to be desired. I am not sure they are cleaned regularly, but the tp is constantly replaced. Bathrooms could use a wash down, including the walls.

Awesome Hide Away Campground
Great park to stay in. Most rv sites are partial to full shade. Water & electricity to rv sites, with 2 dump stations with washout hose. Showers are good and warm (not hot) with ada access. Price discounts for disabled. Ranger Jaime was awesome to work with. Let the peacocks serenade you!
Only down side is, you can stay total of 14 days between this park and its sister in rio vista (Sandy Beach) then have to be gone 30 days to reset. I have stayed at both.
I would recommend both parks!

Secluded
Nice local park that I stayed overnight in during a recent road trip. Could use a little manicuring. Price is nice and would recommend a river site if available.

Good Size
The campsites are relatively large and private. Most have electric and water. Some with sewer. Great waterfront sites for $10 more a night. Peacocks roaming throughout campground add a nice touch!

Great Spot. Last Chance Before Bay Area
Large fairly private sites. Many with water and power and a few full hookups. 2 dump stations. Nature Center. Very quiet camp along Putah Creek. Swimming and fishing. Waterfront sites are $10 more. Gets crowded in summer. Watch the poison oak!
