Nice Place But Could Improve
OK, need more green grass areas and the biggie, Wi-Fi. Dead zone with weak cell signals on Verizon, att and t-mobile. Our site was in section B and easy access. Easy to level and hook up. Staff is very friendly and would be nice if and when the restaurant reopens.

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Campground is clean, located in the wide open surroundings.

Not What I Expected !!!
The wife & I booked for a 2 Night stay at the last minute. We live in Murrieta & thought this would be a nice stay. We were given sitc C 316. It was Very Disappointing !!! It was nothing more that a BIG PARKING LOT with NO Trees for shade or Grass for that matter. DIRT & DRY WEEDS !!! Couldn't even see the lake. This place is a joke. We didn't even park. We drove straight home. We had our 3 dogs with us & there was NO WAY we were going to expose them to the Dirt & Dry Weeds. I will NEVER go back !!!

Nice lake , dirt sites . Get a site along the grass in front of each area . Lots of trails around and to water . No real good views of water from camp sites . Nice staff . Area A mostly tent and Rv , area B mostly Rv and lively , area C is a little more mellow.

Noisy
We camped for 2 nights. The spaces are very close together. Quite a few very noisy neighbors blasting music late. Kids speeding around on golf carts with no supervision. Fairly dusty as well. The kids splash zone was ok. Probably won’t stay here again.

Lake Skinner
A great family place. Water pad, playgrounds. Lots of places to ride bikes. Nature. Out of the way so you feel like your not in the city. Campgrpund C is our favorite its quieter. Campground A and B can get a bit roudy on weekends. But people are really nice. Hosts there do a good job.

Tight spaces , very dusty and kids roaming around with no supervision! Security bad! To many weekend warriors getting drunk! Rules not obeyed here ! Will not return during weekends or summer!!

Perfect For Families
This lake is great for families. They have a cute nature center where kids can make crafts and explore things. My kids had the most fun at the splash pad. There wasn't to much tree coverage, but I'd still come back

Would Return
Camped with 3 rigs on grass sites in B. Level, pleasant, large park. The park was empty this weekend close to the holidays so I’m not sure what it’s like when crowded. Loved the splash pad and playgrounds for kids and lots of room for children to ride bikes and play on grass. (Note:we don’t have young ones but can appreciate!)

Our Place
We love this campground. We've camped here 10+ times, as it is an affordable local spot for us that feels very off grid, but is close to home. Splash pad for kids to enjoy, lake to fish on and boats for rent. Grass spots are the best in A and B. Great market and great sites.

Lake Skinner
First time here had a group of 5 families. Seems the recent rains had everything nice and green. We had back in spots in area B, easily 200 hundreds yards of nice green grass for the kids to play on. If you wana Fish you need to rent a boat Shore fishing is a waste of time because if all the reeds, vegetation old and new. The sun is hot, so bring pop up shade if you have em.

Just a place to camp. Out of the beaten path, bad cell service with AT&T and Verizon. Lady at the gate was on a power trip, so she was pretty rude.
