Loved It!
We've been there twice already and only been RVing for a year. Friendly owners and easy to get to right off the highway. The pups also give it a thumbs up.

Very Good Place
I have been writing The Good &The bad and the ugly reviews on campgrounds. Not on this place. It is two miles off hwy but very good road and fast travel. When you get there it is very quiet grassy parking great rates. Great for over night or extended stays to see the area. And very nice owners. And unexpected find.

A little off the highway. Large grassy site. Stayed an extra day. Will return again.

Ok Place
Ok place. Sign says pick a spot and the owner will come to you to register you. We picked a spot and owner came right over to record the electricity meter. Had to find him in the morning to have him come read meter again so we could pay fee plus electricity use and leave. Place has nice green grass for RV spots but everything else is pretty dry, some holes around that look like gophers or snakes live in them. Only a few long term residents and a very quiet out of the way place. Ok place for a one night stay.

Great Place
Not a resort, but a very quiet, peaceful, and small park, adjacent to tall pines. Pull through sites on grass. Full hookups, cost very reasonable, plus you pay for the electricity you use, which wasn't bad at all, even running the AC. So close to the Lava Beds, Medicine Lake, Tule NWR. The owners are so nice and helpful. We loved this place and will definitely visit again.

Great Find!
Agree with others. Stop here, you won't regret it. True this is not the campground inside Lava Beds, but it's close, and price can't be beat, especially when you want to run the AC!

Great Find
This park is a great find if your looking for full-hookups near the Lava Beds National Park. Nice owners, peaceful at night and the water is excellent! Very dog friendly. It's about a 20min. drive to the Lava Bed Caves. We stay two nights but could easily have stayed longer. They read your power meter so your only charged for what you use. There's no services nearby so come prepared. A laundry room, Ice supply and more shade trees would be nice but aside from that we'd definitely come here again.

What A Great Find!
Craig & Barbara Rissman are the owners and they go above and beyond to help. Craig greeted us and checked us in at our grassy site and gave us a map of the area. We had no idea about Lava Beds National Monument and Medicine Lake. We initially thought we would spend 1 night but we ended up spending 4. We explored the caves, lakes, lava fields and petroglyphs. What a beautiful place full of history! Great for pets. Barbara even got us some fruit when she was in town. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family!
