Horrible Staff And Filthy Facilities

I stayed here all the time when run by the State. Now American Land and Leisure have taken over its ruined. They are so rude and drive around confronting camp after camp with threats. I thought our neighbors were all great, not sure why they were treated so rude. They confronted us plenty too making up rules on the spot, none of which are posted or consistent! The bathrooms were unusable for 2 days covered in trash and feces. The camps were filthy and unmaintained. It seems Land and Leisure is more interested in collecting money than maintaining our public land they are supposed to be managing. I will never return. My experience in every park Land and Leisure has taken over is the same. Why would our State allow such a company to manage our public lands.

Management Corporation Hassles

A nice time was spoiled by the park managers. The America Land and Leisure corporation manages this state park. Trash was strewn all over, the employees were horribly rude. I will avoid American Land and Leisure management run parks in the future. The employees ruined a simple time for us.

Relaxing And Quiet

Came up here late October and it is very peaceful and relaxing. The only thing I did not care about was that it was kind of pricey. I stayed at the Willow campground and it was $31 a night and that is off-season pricing. And it is first come first serve off-season. In season it is $36 a night. And you should make reservations. The handicap sites are very good sites and wheelchair useIs very accessible as well as the bathrooms if you have a portable Hoyer lift. Plus they have a peer that is wheelchair accessible.

So Relaxing

We retired a few years back. Been going to different places. We came on Brannon Island and loved it! The people that manage are great and so nice. The fishing in many areas was enjoyable for my husband. The facilities are clean and spacious. We have been there twice and they will see us again.

Camp On!

Another Summer at Brannan Island. 4th generation camper of this park and we have always had a great time. My Grandfather and Father started the whole camping and fishing and outdoor fun. And now my grandchildren will enjoy the Island and delta.
