Salt Creek Dispersed Area
The Dispersed camping has plenty of space on high ground, but if the lake level is low and the old bridge is above water there is even more opportunities beyond. BEWARE the bridge and road to it are pretty rough. We braved it with our Scamp and it was worth it. There is an awesome Train Trussel Bridge... complete with trains every few hours. It wasn't loud... it rather added to the ambiance of the place. The info on this app said it was only open May to Sept? We stayed here in February. Someone else here said they thought it said that because they bring in outhouses in the summer and charge $10 per campsite. All we know is it was free and a nice place to stay.
