I spent Thanksgiving day 2020 here.. Very nice place, only costs $9, without overnight (closes at 8pm). Good surfing spot but it's near the airport so lots of noise from plane traffic.. otherwise pleasant

Decent RV Rest Spot

Good place to stop and rest. No in and out. Clean and taken care of. You can park an rv with tow till 10pm on the beach side not the rv park itself.

It's one The Few Beach Sites In La

It is a clean RV park and super close for LA residents. Pricing is not bad considering where it is. Yes, it is in LAX flight path so there will be noise. Crowd is not as rough as it used to be so I felt safe with my 2 Kids. For people complaining about sand dune. That is manmade in the winter on purpose. They list the dates they institute it on the LAC site. Usually late October. Don't complain about something that is stated and there to protect the beach from winter swells

We had to go down to see a boy at UCLA medical center. Very convenient for that. Not a lot of room but I had a great view of the ocean. The planes are very loud but we got used to them. We will go back again. Hopefully we can spend more time at the beach.

LAX Flightpath And Sewer Treatment Plant

Great place to park our trailer to visit our daughter from out of state, but the airplanes are very noisy and the sewage treatment plant is just down the road but we couldn't smell it very much. There was a mound of sand an 1/8 mile long so no ocean view!

Loud, But Right On The Beach

Been here several times. Live not to away so this place is convenient. You are right on the beach. The bike strand is on the other side of the low wooden wall. Fire pits are there as well. The only drawback is the airport. The st time went the FedEx planes taking off at two am scared the crap out of us. But we got used to it. Quiet time ten pm and surprisingly enough people do start winding down at around that time. If you don't like loud noises this place is not for you. But if you can take an A380 taking off near by, it is a great campground

Nice But Not Nice

Pro Venue was amazing. Perfect beach camping. Bathroom little dirty and staff to refill paper items in the bathroom. Con you are camping LITERALLY ON THE RUNWAY OF LAX so if you are a normal sleeper. Good luck can't return due to the 24 hour airport blast.
