Okay, but pricey
Mostly level dirt pull-in and back in. E&W , table and ring. I left early because they were having flooding issues and were running deisel powered pumps to move the water. The motor noise and exhaust were not what I had in mind for camping. This probably is not an issue most of the year, but it had not rained for weeks. Convenient location for those who want a base from which to visit nearby Marin County coastal features.

Woods, no noise, wood fires allowed
Great spot, just no sewage at the spot, only one at the entrance. Lots of wood, hike walking distance, laundry, real wood fires allowed, super nice management team, trees, will come back for sure!

Kincaid Fire
I spend Aug - Jan in the Bay Area to be with my children and grandchildren. I scheduled a FHU spot for a 2wk period over the phone with Jason. He was very helpful. During my stay the area was affected by the Kincaid Fire displacing nearly 180,000 people. On top of the fire situation PG&E scheduled rotating power outages. My daughter and her family were evacuated. My next campground was taking in area evacuees and asked those of us who could stay put to please volunteer our campsite to a displaced family. Olema staff kindly worked with me to extend my stay. When the power went out (for 3 days) they brought in a generator which kept the water running. My onboard generator was a god send. I decided to stay during the off season so I could enjoy a less hectic/crowded stay at this uniquely beautiful campground.

Pretty But Muddy
Pretty campground that seems to get lots of families just out for the weekend. Convenient if you’re tourists in the area like we were. It will be MUDDY with any amt of rain and from the looks of all the sand bags, the buildings will flood. Great hot shower in the restroom we used and laundry was very nice. Huge machines. Would go back as there’s not much else around but if pouring rain, would make another plan.

I have yet to stay here but, I know this area very well. If you want WiFi or cell phone reception, this is probably not the place to go. Personally, I like leaving all that behind when I go out to the coast. If twisty roads are not your thing take Sir Francis Drake not Hwy 1 or maybe camp elsewhere. That said, this is one of the best places on the planet. Lunch in Bodega Bay, beach time at any of several amazing beaches, hiking, etc. This is God’s country not man’s so unplug and enjoy.

Screwed Up Reservations
The location of this park is perfect. Its close to San Fran, Muir Woods, Lighthouse, Point Reyes Shoreline Park. We booked full hookups when we got there they had us in electric water only. I threw a fit and they found us full hookups but we had to move once during our four nights stay. The campground itself is not bad. The people could have been a little more friendly. The biggest negative about this park is the drive to and from. It is some of the twistiest hilliest skinniest roads you'll ever drive on. If we go back there I'll probably pay the $99 a night to stay closer to a main road. Check your Maps check your Google Street View on some of the subdivisions and Roads you have to drive to get there.

No Good
The WiFi does not stream. All sites share one dump. The waiting list is a joke because the staff does not check it.

Nice quiet Stay
We stayed there for three nights while exploring Point Reyes. Everything was fine. I don't know what some others were expecting, but I plan to go there often as a quick get away from the cities.

Never Again
Power went out, wifi doesn't work, lots and lots of staff but very little being taken care of. Forest service land would have offered the same amenities
