My 2nd Stay....still Happy
I was here in February 2020 and now March 2020. Beautiful grounds! Has a lake and good trails for seniors or someone who cant do physically difficult trail. Biking them with all ages is easy. The sites can be tight and a few have shrubs as a view. I pulled in yesterday in the rain...there was a lot of run off coming down my site...hopes the rain will stop and the site will soak up the rain and my site will be dry....no today it rained and flooded. I asked the ranger if i can move they said all the spots are booked. And i would have to move everyday, so i opted to stay. Rain has got to stop, right? Abot an hour later the ranger stopped said i can move to a better site and i wouldnt have to move everyday. Well the site is much nicer dry up above every one and closer to bathhouse. They we so helpful. This is a popular san Diego county park. Very close to major stores there is highway noise and a few sirens. But very forgetful once here. The lake is very pretty...swans and ducks.

Worst Park Yet In My 9,500 Mile Trip
The pad was 9' wide and it rained. Outside my TT door was a large area of very slippery mud and almost fell in it twice. If they can't grow grass, a larger pad, gravel, or wood chips are needed. Branches and debris on the site, they dont maintain their sites often.
Park borders a busy road. Constant traffic noise. The area is heavy commercial/suburban and nothing special about it. Beach I found was rocks (Carlsbad SP).
Tolerable if you need to be near here....

Nice Little Place
Nice Little campground. Walking trails and good atmosphere. Pretty good spacing between most sites. Recommend for weekend trips

Under Construction
Lots of construction evident, 1/2 of campsites closed during construction. Clean restrooms, pleasant staff. Love to visit again when the construction is complete. A sign states that the Utility Improvement Project will run thru March 30, 2018. Looks like they are adding sewer to electric & water campsites.

Great Getaway Without Getting Away
We enjoyed Guajome county park. Clean, very friendly staff, hookups (electric/water) worked as advertised.
Kids liked the trails and it felt very safe to let them go ride around on their own.
Half of the sites were closed and under reno but we stayed in #5 and it was nice. Fairly level, big space but not terribly secluded. Not many are here.
