Location is the Story
If this park was somewhere else, it would be a 1 *. Sites are too small and close, and $4.95 a day for 9 MB WIFI? Serious? The numerous permanent residents make this a questionable choice. Location is great, just know ahead the other issues.

We go there at least once a year for the past 8 yrs, hiked the dunes all the way to the beach, it’s nice for the kids, it is bike friendly, they have horse back riding, basketball court, multiple clean restrooms, and showers, I think even a laundry room. The sites could be a little tight, I think the backing in sites are more roomy than the pull threw, but I have no complaints.

Mr
Good place for the money. Fun little hike through the dunes to the beach. Check in process after hours needs work.

Pictures and website are deceiving. It’s more of a trailer park than a rv park, 90% of people are permanently staying there. Sites are extremely small even when you book the “extra large” sites. My slides were just about touching the neighbors picnic table. Being able to walk out in the dunes is the reason for three stars.

Love It!
The location was nice for us, off the beaten path, but only about ten minutes to Pismo pier. We loved the dunes, so nice for a cool morning walk. They had horseback riding and such and as RPI members, we got a discount. We would come back again. The wifi was good but you had to pay 5.95 a day for it. The staff was pleasant.

good news/bad news
Unusual setting in the middle of nowhere. Many sites perched on a hillside. Best sites for most of us are in the lower lot. Short walk onto sand dunes. Horse stables nearby for rides onto beach. Can get very windy and cold. Many full- time RVers in upper sites. Not well kept-up.
