Great Spot For Small RV Or Tent

This is a great campground for small RV, camper van or truck camper. Lots of trees and some sunny sites. No hookups. Park playground is next to campground and can be noisy during the day but very quiet at night. The memorial song plays at night for perfect ending to the day. Bathrooms are clean including showers. Would definitely stay here again. $5 discount for veterans and seniors. First come pay at kiosk.

This is a first come first serve basis campground with a 3 night maximum. They have NO hook ups, showers are free (but push button that only gets you about 45 seconds), bathrooms are cleaned once a day (usually late morning). They also have hike-in and bike-in sights. Campground is at the top of the hill and there are a couple of twists and turns to get to it but it is a great little gem. We've stayed multiple times, in tent and converted trailer, weather is very damp and all things left out at night will be wet in the morning.

Pricey for No Hookups

If you are motorhome and tow a vehicle that you disconnect and use to get around, they charge $8 claiming it is the "second vehicle," even when my motorhome stays parked. First time I've run into that interpretation. $30 is high anyway for dry camping. Changed plans and stayed only one night. I'll go down the road and pay a little more for a lot more service. Otherwise, nice quiet park with good space between sites.

Great Place For $30/Night

We spent two nights here over Thanksgiving and it wasn't super busy the park is great for the kids and the spots are large we are technically too large to stay there over 27ft but they let us stay anyway and were really friendly we felt safe here and no homeless in the park lots of families campfire ban still in effect no reservations first come first served but big park

Best offer for this price in Monterey

30$ a night for up to 8 people and two vehicles, showers for free. Price for this location is ok, compare to the alternatives... No limit to RV lenght but limited amount of spots. There is a 3 days limit to stay.

Large Dog Park, Hiking Trails

This park seems a bit pricey for no hookups. But a great location to Monterey Beach and town. Park has large dog park. We were suprised by the challenging hike trails next to the park.
