Fowler's Campground

Stayed in #28 above the creek. 32' plus truck just fit. Nice easy hike to middle falls. Paved trail to lower falls. Camp host was friendly. Caught German Browns on a yellow hackle fly. All good neighbors. Good price. 15 miles to Mc Cloud

Beautiful River, Too Much Humanity

Should/could be a beautiful stop on the McCloud River but campground was very crowded, loud, smelly, and dirty. Wouldn't recommend for families (profanity yelled by inebriated neighbors). We hiked to the stunning waterfalls and that saves my review from being 1 star. There's a lot of potential but go when it's low season and mid-week.
