Beautiful, Peaceful Retreat
We pulled in for one night and ended up staying 4 more. It was so nice, we did our laundry in the laundry room and used the shower. Pet friendly. Lots of trees and green grass. During the week was quiet with not many campers however the 3 day weekend brought many campers in. It was still nice and quiet in the evenings. We will definitely be back. Managers were very accommodating and available by phone as we never actually saw them. The park is well taken care of. Full hook ups and partial hook ups. Would highly recommend

Early Season Camping
After spending the month of January in dry conditions, we decided to pull our new 5th wheel up to McCloud and stayed at this RV park. Very nice lady greeted us and helped us through the process. It was dry with patches of snow and several other campers. Beautiful views of Mt. Shasta. We have stayed here a few other times before and always enjoyed it...especially the little Pizza place at the entrance. Very nice stay and nice people. Be sure to drive the 7 miles south to Fallers camp and hike along the three beautiful waterfalls. A little spendy here but can't go wrong at this RV park.

Arrogant Owner
Sites are closer together than we prefer (awnings are within inches of the next RV's slide-outs), grounds well kept, facilities clean, staff very nice but the owner is as arrogant as anyone I've ever met. We reserved and paid for a tent site and RV site for 3 nights. On our last day while taking everything down THE OWNER decided to pull up the tent the kids were staying 2 hours before checkout with all their things inside and drag it to the dirt so he could water the lawn. When I confronted him he did not apologize or seem to care in the least only saying he needed to water the lawn - keep in mind this is a $30 per night tent site and again, this was THE OWNER who did this. When we told him we would not be back he said that was fine as they were "always full". A simple apology would have been fine by me. Instead I'm making sure as many people as possible know about our experience.

Stayed Three Nights
It was quiet as we had a site away from the road. Showers were fine. WiFi as promised extremely limited almost useless. Had no customer service issues. Price was reasonable for trailer site, but we also rented a tent site which was overpriced. If you can do without hook ups there are several USFS campgrounds 10 miles down the road (not listed in this app) which are secluded, scenic and on the McCloud River.

Wow! It's a great park with lots of grass sites. The park is clean and the grounds keepers and staff are helpful. There is plenty of hiking trails near with beautiful waterfalls. We would stay again.

Noisy..
Nice park, well cared for, lots of green space. Two horseshoe pits, a couple of covered group areas to BBQ with friends etc. Many trees, management is very nice, good places to dog walk. Having said all this, our biggest complaint is, the noise! Dance Country is right next to Hwy. 89 which makes for a super noisy stay. It wouldn't be bad if the windows were closed but I'm not a "window closed" kind of person. That being said, if you were to pre-plan the area and get a good grassy site further from the Hwy, it would be 5 stars. We stayed here for three nights in a 40' motorhome.
