We stayed in the partial hookup area close to the bathroom. They were clean in good shape. Wanted to kyack the river but foggy and a bit cold the first day, but the sun came out on day 2, so kyacking was great. Level parking on green grass. Small beach area to play on a 5-minute walk from where we were parked, horseshoe pit, and volleyball area. Pretty nice dock for boats. Mendacino is a short distance North. Lots of spaces but few taken. Good cell service.

Loved IT!
We stayed here in February of 2020 and loved it. There are great hiking trails in the area and there were harbor seals in the waterway right on the property so we had fun watching them play!
One word of caution, we have a 34ft fifth wheel and when coming in, there is a fairly steep incline with a switch back, take it wide to avoid your fifth wheel hitting the box of your truck and damaging your trailer.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time!

Nov. 2016
We stayed here back in Nov of 2016. Very nice campground with view of river, ocean and a really high bridge! If coming from South turn right after the bridge so you don't miss the campground as I did! I turned right after the first turn and ended up having to turn around like Austin Powers did!
