Lone Pine
Stayed her for the first time during the middle of the week. Space #38. Unobstructed lake view. Clean restrooms and showers. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Ate dinner one night at the Lake Cuyamaca Cafe about a half mile walk from the camp. We brought kayaks. It’s about a 50 yard carry to the lake but the launching was easy. Very nice campground. Some noise from Hwy 79 but it dies down pretty early. Can be windy at times.

Great Place
Love this place, camped in April and weather was beautiful. Got my 35’ class c in no problem (space #17) at chambers park. Get space # 8 if you can! Lone pine is the next best park on this lake just a few hundred feet up the street. Fishing was great, caught 5 trout in 2 days. Quiet & peaceful during this time. Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife very present! New ownership has turned this into a great place.

Chambers Park At Lake Cuyamaca
Nice park close to the lake. Some sites difficult to back into. Water and AC only. Closest dump station is at Paso Picacho camp ground about 4 miles away and costs $10 to dump. Can be noisy with kids. Good for a weekend getaway but frequently is full. Only 23 spaces and only about half our suitable for 30' RVs.
