Great Campground
Spent 2 nights here during the week. Very quiet, clean, great camp hosts, and excellent facilities. We will definitely be back!

Able to find a spot at the last minute. Unique spots among the rocks. Beautiful spot.

A Rocking Good Time
Would have rated this a perfect 5, but for the vault toilets that were nearly filled to the brim the 2nd night of our stay. Guessing the park experienced peak numbers of campers earlier than expected. Otherwise, this was the most magical place I've camped so far, especially at night!

This Place ROCKS!
Make reservations! Amazing place, can't wait to return. Bring wood because you can have a fire. Latrines/no showers. 9/10am ranger guided walks are not far away from campground. 15 million years in the making, so you know it has to be good

The Best For Beauty
This is my most favorite of campgrounds of Joshua Tree's 8. It has the best lighting, rocks, and Joshua trees for sunset/sunrise photography.
However, it's likely the coldest campground, though the big boulders buffer the winds somewhat.
It is the second to the last campground to fill on busy weekends, and holidays, since it has the most sites of all park campgrounds.
The is no cell service, no water. It has some sites large enough for RVs.
