The bad ... no sani-dump. no attendant when we arrived. Park host not on duty. No ocean view from any of the campsites (but there is from the overflow???). No beach. Visitor center closed. Campsite not level in the least. No photos of campsite on online reservation site. Worn out park in need of renovation (typical California state park).
The good ... easy highway 1 access. Park camping fee entitles access to Fort Ross historic site down the road.

Overflow Parking Is The Best!
If you don't need access to a bathroom, picnic table, or fire pit, the overflow parking has a great view of the beach. We really enjoyed the view and parking was $20 per night at the end of March in the overflow parking area. The regular RV/camping spots don't have a view of the beach.
