RV'ERS BEWARE!!!!

RV'ers BEWARE!!!! NEVER stay at Lighthouse Marina and RV Resort on Brannan Island in Isleton, CA. This park is disgusting! It's hard to tell from the pictures. Look closely at the pics of the pool. The grass is knee high. No pool furniture and there is a chain and padlock on the gate. No sewer hookups in the nice area. Sewer is only by the long term sites with the crappy looking RV'S. Manager doesn't seem to care and is slovenly. Men's bathroom had feces sitting in one of the toilets this morning. This was at 8:00 a.m. We left at noon, got back at 6:00 p.m. and it was still there. However, they mowed the jungle around the pool. BIG DEAL! Water to rigs is tinted brown. They can't help the mosquitos, but they are plentiful and mutant. We are members of Resorts of Distinction and this is one of their network resorts. Have written them recommending removal for their network. Cutting our stay short by 5 days. DON'T BOOK INTO THIS RESORT. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

This could be a great resort! First thing is that it's a member only resort but they let you stay there for 2 nights to see if you to become a member. My opinion, membership is expensive and right now not worth it. What we thought needed to be fix is: store hours 9 to 5 for most days and less on weekends. Grass needs to be cut more often, our site was tall and most everywhere was. Miniature golf course needs to be worked on badly. Part of our decision on visiting this rv park was the miniature golf course because we had our grandson with us, but it wasn't much fun. Also, you had to give a credit card to get the putter and ball. It was hard to do that. Now the good: people were friendly and easy to get along with. Easy to get to river, they have a bar and grill at the river, their own docks, the sites were big. The pool was great. I hope this helps.

Private member park. We have seen the ups and downs of this park for 5 years. Early spring this park isn't that well but in the summer and fall, it is beautiful. Miniature golf, pool, playground, club house, RV storage. Owners still need to upgrade the area for larger RVs by providing 50 amp and gravel sites. 50 amp sites available but with no sewage. Overall, we are still pleased with the small upgrades the management is trying to do.
