Sites vary greatly in size. Most sites are for tent camping, but we found a good spot for our 25' RV. No hookups. Vault toilets and faucets throughout the campground. Flush toilets at the entrance. Easy hike to the river, but don't go in. Great spots for fly fishing.

Nice Place For Families
Been to Wa Ka Luu Hep Yoo many times over the years. First as tent campers and now as tent trailer campers.
There's usually potable water on site, but you'll need to fill your tank, as there's no water hooks at each site.
This is 'dry' camping, if you will. There are showers and vault toilets. Dumpsters are available, so you don't need to pack out your trash.
Getting down to the creek is a bit of a steep hike, but fine for most folks. The river is NOT wheelchair accessible. The river can be swift when full from a fresh snow melt, so be careful. Bring a life jacket.
Roads in the campground are paved. Fire pits provided.
There is no wood or ice for sale, so you'll need to go into town for stuff like that. Camp Connell is just up the road. Big Trees Market, in Dorrington, is probably the best bet for anything you'll need. Often times we just get all our groceries there on our way up.
The gas stations in Dorrington will refill propane tanks, and the ACE hardware has a tank exchange.
