One Of Our Favorites
What a great place. Beautiful park. Close to entrance and plenty of riding trails for my side by side. Updated clubhouse and by far the best I’ve ever seen. Friendly staff and don’t listen to complaints about internet. The free WiFi at clubhouse is awesome and except for a few dead spots inside park ( we had a dead spot, 5 cottages in a middle row were dead s spots). We only had to walk 30 feet away and I was able to zoom and make WiFi phone calls. We can’t wait to go back

Nice Park With Some Downsides
We are members so the space was part of membership. You pick your own spot by driving around until you find the one you like. Overall it was a pleasant park. Nights and mornings usually quiet. The Yosemite transit shuttle picks up near the registration office (check NPS for schedule/reservations. Reservations are needed to get into park too). Come in at Yosemite Lakes Road Downsides: internet is terrible. Do not pay the extra fee $15 for better service. It’s not better! Free wifi is supposed to be available in park but it’s best at the “lodge”. You’ll know bc that’s where people gather! The lodge is still being remodeled. I didn’t see much work being done. We heard 1000 Trails has been remodeling it for 2 years. So that would be nice to have. At least when we were there (this week) there seemed to be a lot of unsupervised/poorly supervised kids. They were ok for the most part. The river spots seemed congested. We noticed numerous spaces were not available due to maintenance issues.

Great Place
(Review July 2017) No clue why people give this place a low star rating. This place was great. All RV sites were full hookups which is great for a thousand trails. There were plenty of things for kids to do. There was a great, safe swimming hole in the river near the lodge. The 120 entrance to Yosemite is 5 miles to the east. The staff was the friendliest of all of the thousand trails I have visited. Don't go if you want WiFi or a cell connection. Their resort is very remote and they run their WiFi on satellite, which is really slow especially when a bunch of people are using it. Put away your electronics and go to Yosemite National Park to enjoy the natural beauty of the park. July 2019 update. They added 3rd party WiFi throughout ($4.95/day or $14.95 7 days up to 4 devices) Works great. This fall they are going to begin work on a $300k playground and tennis courts and bathrooms. They are currently upgra all of the electrical throughout the park. Still a great place!

A Tad Pricey For A Tent
Granted we came on July 5th but they made us pay holiday prices of 63$ for a tent site. Probably a great place if you have an RV or staying for a bit because there were lots of activities but too expensive for a 1 night stay. We didn’t plan ahead or we would have moved on.

Nice Park
Very nice, FHU pull-through, nice, friendly staff, great s'mores by the fire on Saturday nights. Do not come if you need cell phone or decent internet, neither is available. Great swimming in the river and a cute little mountain town 20 miles away. And, of course, Yosemite 5 miles down the road. Will go here again!

Very Nice Park
I'm a little confused about the low star rating for this park because it is quite nice. It is a bit pricey but it was quiet, the staff was helpful, and there is a variety of activities. We took a wonderful hike across the bridge to the other side of the stream and visiting Yosemite was easy.
