High Country Camping Yosemite

This campground is off 120 about 35 to 40 minutes from Yosemite Valley. While more primitive than the more traveled campgrounds it is very nice, lots of shade and much cooler in high summer. Elevation is around 8000 ft. Not open all year, usually July through September. First come first serve, no reservations. $18 per night. RVs up to 27', 74 sites, flushing toilets, camp ring, picnic tables and food lockers. Nice and quite!
