Not an extremely clean campground. Dog waste in the park and along the road. Laundry room convenient, but not the cleanest I’ve been in. met our needs for overnight camping as we were not there during the day. no picnic tables in the side that we were in. Many long-term campers there.

Helpful!
We booked online and when we arrived our site already had a rig in it. No other available site for the night. No problem, the gal at the checkin desk put us in one of the empty long term sites. Appreciated her initiative! Anyway, pulled in and set up when she called and said manager said to fully refund our $$! How great was that?
Quiet park, friendly folks. Reasonable washrooms. And from our perspective a good wheelchair accessible shower! Ticked all the boxes for an overnight stop.

Overnight Stop Or Live Here!
Mostly long term folks here, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Minimal dog walking areas, I went across the street behind Target, which is apparently where everyone took their dogs, based on the quantity of dog crap there.
The bathhouse was clean and the place was maintained, concrete pads are always nice.

This place is well kept and relatively clean. Staff was helpful and gave us a couple of pointers for around town. We came in late and they kindly left our welcome packet outside the office in the appropriately labeled box. Easy in-easy out. Close to everything you need-restaurants, Target, WalMart and lots of fruit stands. Close enough to Monterey to make a day trip. Sites have no picnic tables, so plan for that.
Decent place. Safe and no BS. Only four stars here because the dog park is small and the sites are a little narrow.

Just had a quick stay of one night ... very friendly staff and clean facilities. Close proximity to shops and restaurants by either walking or bike-riding. We would definitely return.

Everything here is really nice. Be aware that they have a weird bathroom rule. The doors are padlocked to the bathrooms from 10-5:30. Even though there is a code to get in any other time of day. When I ask the response was.... That's what we do. So weird. So keep in mind no shower or toilets after hours.

Great Campground
We camped here 2 nights in our 28' motorhome. The pads are all paved and very flat. There were no picnic tables or anything and very few trees where we were at but it was coolish weather so the sun was welcome. The pool looked very nice and the laundry facility was excellent with good prices and nice newish machines. We walked to a wine tasting room around the corner and brought our own picnic stuff and bought one of their bottles of wine and enjoyed one of their two patios. We also walked to target and Barnes and noble which were directly across from the park so it was super convenient. We took a day and drove the short 40 minute or so drive to the ocean and enjoyed Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea and Monterey wharf.
I highly recommend this place. Many families of all different ages. The staff is very friendly and it felt very safe. There are trains that go by, FYI, so bring a fan or sound machine and turn it up.
