We stayed here 3 nights. If you have big rigs (ours is 40') it is the only option close to national forest and Park in the North side. It is quiet but I would only stay here out of necessity. It's not well kept and our dogs get burrs all over them from anywhere in the park. It's just not nice, nothing is improved and there are a lot of longer term people living in run down mobile homes in the back of the park all with dogs outside barking and left outside. There's no pool, very limited wifi, and no one ever in the office, just pull in and take a spot and pay in a box. There are also many abandoned mobile homes and trailers you should keep the kids away from. I only recommend due to convenience, it worked for us but at $40 a night, not worth it.

Quiet place
The place is undergoing some Renovations. It appears that the bathroom, shower and laundry room are being renovated. The park was conveniently located en route to Kings Canyon National Park. There’s a gas station and grocery store nearby. The park itself is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. To note, sites are not leveled and there never seemed to be anyone in the park office, perhaps because it was a holiday weekend?
