Surprise Location
The park is large with long and wide spaces placed so social distancing is not a problem. The restrooms and showers were closed due to the Covid-19 so all campers had to use showers and bathrooms in their RV’s. Not a problem as that is what they are for. Excellent wi-fi and the river is an easy walk, some spots have large trees so shade is great. Every site has a trash can dumped as needed. The staff was so nice and helpful. Nice grass, shaded recreation area w/ horseshoe pit, beanbag toss, benches and BBQ pits. General store quarter mile west off hwy, ice wine, well stocked and super nice owner. The park is roughly halfway between Fresno and Sequoia. Sequoia is opening July 4th according to rangers and this park is going to be very busy during summer, I would make a reservation if you are going to stay for a few nights. We will definitely stay here again.

Really Nice
Great spots, lots of room. Kings River 100 yards away. Clean, good cell reception, strong WiFi signal. Connie is an awesome host, received a gift bag on check in. Stayed 3 nights, could have stayed 3 weeks. Lots of renovations going on, stocked a new fishing pond with fish the day I arrived. Will stay again.

Great Place For Base Camp
We stayed here April '18 for 3 nights while we took day trips to Kings Canyon & Sequoia NPs. The sites in the area we stayed in were huge - wide and long. A little traffic noise, but not bad. Bathrooms/showers were decent. This park is mostly geared toward base camp & people passing through, but I think they are starting to do things for campers - adding tables, maybe fire pits. The managers (Connie & Jerry) were very nice, friendly & helpful! I would stay here again.

$35
full hookups but no shade. Seems like most others live there permanently giving the whole thing a trailer park vibe. WiFi only works sporadically when you're in reach (AP seems to be located at the office only). Even though it's a bit off the highway it is still audible at night. There's a central BBQ.
