Nice campsite

Beautiful Lake

We love Lake Francis! It is a beautiful small lake east of the Collins Lake area. The campground is spacious & the lake view RV sites are set far enough from each other so that you still have privacy. The Lake view sites are slightly more difficult to park in as some of them have a steep grade leading to the campsite pad. Before and after the summer rush, the Lake is so quiet and serine and the Lake shines like glass. There are no motored boats allowed on the lake, so, it is nice and quiet, with exception to the shore areas, during busy season. The property also provides camps for foster children, so, anytime of the year you can hear the activities and coming from the camp- We didn't find the sounds from the camp to be irritating. The staff at the office, for check-in/out, boat rentals and shop, are not at the top of their game when it comes to "pleasant" interactions, but we look past that because we're there to camp and not socialize :) If you want peace & quiet go during the week.
