Many spacy sites in a wooded environment. Mountains around, but cleared and / or burnt off trees. Clean bathrooms and showers for money by two minutes for 50c.
Campsite for 1 vehicle cost 40$ without any citywater nor sewage. Dump site at the entrance. For seniors a 2$ discount - how generous .... Compared to National Forest camp sites - quite overpriced.

We have been camping at Cuyamaca State Park since 1959. My parents took our family camping in our local mountains and back than the drive took two hours. Fast forward to 2016 and the drive takes less than 50 minutes. The park is in great shape, showers have been remodeled, trails cleared and maintained, and if you need something quick that you forgot back home there's a store a few miles down the road. This is a four season year round park to camp at. Have fun enjoy our local mountains.
