Nice Small Park - No Showers
This is a newly renovated campground with nicely paved road and camp sites. The sites are close together and relatively tight, but all have full hookups, have great shade, and all have a fire ring, grill, and a picnic table. There are bathrooms, but NO SHOWERS. A few of the sites are not at all level and require several leveling blocks, but some sites are very level. The sites nearest to the river are the most level and quiet. Hwy 7 runs along the outside sites, and it is very noisy. There are several hiking paths off of this campground.
All and all a very nice little park. 4 stars due to the lack of showers and sloped campsites.

My 3 Visit
Lots of hiking trails. Close into town. Full hookups at every site. $32 per night march 2022. $16 with senior pass. One thing to note is it is no longer first come first serve The national Park Service has put this on reservation only. So you have to reserve your site through recreation.gov.

So So
The park is gorgeous with the river and walking paths. When you’re there, you feel like you’re packed in like sardines. Very close sites to say the least.
This was our 2nd stay here and I’m certain we’ll search for a roomier campground when we return next year.

Mixed Feelings
The campground is nice, first come, first serve. We got in about 2:30 and got a camp site next to the road,W/E. It really was very noisy. A major road,7, is right there. I'm pretty sure every truck in the state of Arkansas drives by there from 4am to 6am.
That said ,it is a lovely park and the hike up to the mountain trail and around the tower was really good. We've been in the desert southwest four five weeks. It was great to get back to hiking in the woods

Prefect, Timeless Hot Springs
The creek sites are great! First come first served and sites fill up over the weekend. A little pricey at $30 per night but for 2-3 night to visit Hot Springs it's great. Easy access to 7 south and 7 north to get to downtown. Many scenic drives and walking trails right from the campsites. The creek is busy with day campers but very natural and the wildlife is everywhere.

Friendly Place
Spots were a little tight for a 40 foot fifth wheel, but it was built in the 60s so to be expected. It’s first come first serve, but I was able to get a nice spot on the creek. Sonny was super nice and helping us get a parked. Didn’t go in the bathrooms

We really enjoyed this place and with the Senior National Park pass it was only $15 a night! Self service honor system for check in. Not crowded even tho it was nearly full. Convenient location for exploring Hot Springs and easy access to great hiking trails.

Loved It
We stumbled across this park. With Senior Pass, our site with full hookups was very inexpensive. Staff is very helpful. We extended our stay beyond our plans we enjoyed it so much.

Gorgeous Campground
Pay when you get there, after choosing a site. There's volunteers that work there and usually a park ranger in a host site. We loved staying here, the setting is beautiful and right along a creek. Plenty of awesome hiking trails practically at your doorstep! Downtown Hot Springs in super cute too. Full hookups.

Beautiful but too noisy
The campground itself is great! The spots, while close together, have large trees and a creek behind them. However it is right next to a very busy and inclined road with tractor trailers blazing through all day and night. It's very loud and destroys any peacefulness of the campground. Especially loud when tractor trailers use their engine breaks on the downhill. We only opted to stay 1 night because of this.
Get here early to snag a spot. It fills up really fast. We got in at 1pm on a Monday and were lucky to get the very last spot available.
The sites all have water, electric, and sewer and a few are pull through.

Quiet And Clean
First come first serve. Great little spot right next to the river. Easy access to trails and town right from the campground. Highly suggest the lookout tower along the trails. Dog friendly on leash. Full hookups at all spots. They have really clean toilet facilities but they don't have showers so you have to use your rig. You can use showers at two other local campground for about $5 or you can just time your showers with your bathhouse experiences too. Cute little BBQ spot just down the road called Mickeys BBQ and the xmas lights around town are beautiful and we loved the Garvan Woodland Gardens xmas lights (4 million bulbs!). I imagine this place fills up quickly in summer.

Great Campground! Hosts were very nice, helpful. We stayed an extra night just because it was so peaceful and relaxing. No more homeless now that all sites are full hookup.

Definitely didn't see any homeless people. Very beautiful creek running behind campground. Tons of hiking trails that lead to the town.

We were there the week after Labor day. Park is very convenient to everything touristy. We didn't have any problem with any homeless people nor did we even see anything like that. Didn't care much for Hot Springs so we will not need to stay there again
