Nice Road Trip Pit Stop

We pulled in last night around 8:30 and it was pretty empty on the car side. We grabbed one of the first open spots away from the bathrooms. We are in a 33ft RV so we took up the entire 4 or 5 car spaces since there are no dedicated RV/trailer spaces and no hookups. There are about 5 or 6 of these small parking areas before and after the bathrooms, and near the bathrooms is a larger parking area for cars. On the other side closest to the interstate is inline semi parking. Our spot had its own bright light next to a nice grassy area and a covered picnic area. Bathrooms are clean. It was nice and quiet even though it had filled up by the time we left around 3:30am, only a space or 2 open. Photos on Google maps.

Great Little Rest Area

Cautioned by the previous yet short review I was hesitant to stop here but my dogs needed to go. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older rest area and so there is indeed not a ton of parking. Truck parking is on the left as you come in and it’s all one behind another on both sides of the driveway so it is really hard to tell from the entry point how much space there is in the front. The car park swings to the right with a nice treed and big green space in the middle and on it’s right. The car driveway has several smaller parking bays for about 4 - 5 cars each which just fit my 34ft Moho plus tow car. My dogs and I loved the green space. There were also water spigots and covered picnic tables all with lots of shade.
