Very nice State Park with lots of activities, golf tennis, hiking, fishing, sites are nicely spaced, we only got water and electric. Typical State Park bathroom where my shower rating of 1 to 10 only gets about a three because anytime the water sprays right out into the changing area big demerits happen. Other than that I love the place.

Great
Welcomed by hosts who walked us inside: quiet sites separated by nice distance; beautiful park: town with buffet nearby

Beautiful
Well we were on our way home and came across this park. There are not enough good thing to say about this state park. We are definetly going togo back as soon as we can since its only 5 hrs away from our home. There are so many things to do and we will plan to spend more time there. The staff were so nice and very helpful. Wonderful for seniors to small children.great great park

Really pretty Park and friendly staff. Got site 24, back in with water/electric, and lots of shade. But absolutely no TV with antenna and no AT&T cell service at all. Our site was right up to woods and a creek so gnats and mosquitoes in late August after rainstorm made it difficult to sit outside. Didn’t use bathrooms due to Clovid19 so can’t comment on them. Drove through equestrian campground and it’s very nice. Good open stalls for horses, with ceiling fans and water hookups. Campsites close to stalls but not too close. It’s a bit of a drive to town so bring provisions. Gave park only 4 stars because there was a water line break on another site on our last morning there and nobody alerted us. Stopped another departing camper and that’s how we found out why we had no water. Sadly, our water filter got clogged with sand/debris and had to be replaced. Wish we had been warned so we could shut water valve.

Pretty Park
Very quiet with nice size back in spot. Lots of trees and shade. Next to a small lake. Couldn't swim in the swim beach due to geese. Very clean restrooms, but not all of them open due to covid-19.
Saw lots of deer and tons of mosquitoes. Park Ranger was delightful

Great Camp
Arkansas state parks are some of the best camping in the country.
This one is no exception. Paved pads, spacious, clean, nice showers and clean bathrooms. No internet and very poor cell reception. But we're camping, so who cares?
Open year-round, perfect for the early-season traveler.

Great state park. In a farming town in eastern Arkansas. Don't not let the town or area fool you, the park is great. Typical of many State parks. Full hookups with nice quiet, and spread out sites. Very nice staff and ranger. I like State parks because they don't have the close sites and hustle-bustle of urban RV parks.

Winter Time
We stayed in January. The weather was perfect, and quite warm. We occupied campsite B this time. The sites are level, and have full hookups. The campground is high on the ridge where you can get TV and cell phone reception. One of Arkansas's best State Parks.
