Nice and Quiet
It looks to be a new or newly renovated campsite. Not much in the way of trees but the spaces are wide and level. Hook ups are easily accessible. No cable. Water pressure was great. The staff was very friendly and quick to make sure you got all the applicable discounts. Not much in the immediate area for stores, etc but go toward Arkadelphia and you'll find everything you need. This place will improve over time. It'll be on my list to come back. I'm sure they'll add another star to the review.

1 Night Miscommunication
We called several hours in advance and pre paid for a sight. On the phone the person was very hard to hear over a screaming bird in the background. That aside the person was polite. When we showed up to the grounds someone was in the spot they gave us. They had double booked the spot. And when we talked to them on the phone. They blamed the other campers who also told us they were in that spot. The owners had lots of excuses for what happened. But it just boiled down to the fact that they didn't communicate with each other. Thankfully my husband is a rock star and we got into a spot that others may not have been able to. But then we didn't have power. Again with excuses. So we connected with the sight next to us that was empty. The park was clean and quiet. It is right next to the highway. Won't stay here again unless I have to.

Adequate At A Cost
Arrived but no one in office, phoned and were given open sites. Knocked on our door at 9 to say they would check us out in the am. Stayed here because of laundry facilities, clean, older machines only took quarters and no change machines and no one in office, of course everyone carries 33 quarters with them! Thank you to the people from Ohio next to us with some change. Tried to check out in morning, office open but no one but a macaw who poops alot in office! Returned in twenty minutes to find office locked, called to find out they had left and would return shortly to over charge us a "discounted" $40! Wifi too weak to pull up anything and cable worthless, 1 channel. Go enjoy the beautiful sites at DeGray Lake, only 5 miles further!

OK Place
Arived after 4:30 in Sunday. Easy access off I-30. No staff around but they were a phone call away. May be a bit early in the season. Pool not set up. Both bathrooms closed for some reason. People seemed nice and I will meet them in the morning to pay up. Noise from I-30 not to bad. Lots OK but very tight. Wifi did not work for us. It's a good spot to rest after a long day of driving. If you have a motorcycle, the roads around here are great!!! Place worth $25 tops. Way overpriced. 2.5 rating.

adequate
Stayed overnight on our way thru. Pool closed, bathrooms closed, don't know if there were showers or not. No where to put garbage. Pull thru no wider than 13 feet wide, could not use awning. Wifi did not work. Now the good, It's safe, it has trees and it has hook ups . The managers were not around when we arrived at 4pm. on the phone they told us where to park. We found them the next morning in the office. They said they were giving a discount because they were not here to greet us last night. The girl charged us $40. Wonder what the regular rate is??? Worth $25 maximum!

Wonderful Folks
Pro's : We arrived very late after a long days travel, the host(s) stayed up for us and made us feel very much at home, even offered to help me hook up so I could get me kids in bed quicker.
Clean and comfortable, updated bathrooms, kept up well. Very minimuim traffic, felt safe letting the kids play. Easy to manuever travel trailer around the roads and site.
The owners just took over a couple years ago and have made some great improvements to the property, deff an up and coming.
Con's : Shady perminate campers living onsite. Playground is very run down, no real grassy areas for kids to play or pets to run.
I can't say enough about the hosts, they really are quite pleasant and were fantastic to my family; incredibly helpful.
