Quiet, Friendly

Lots of Rvs here but surprisingly very quiet. Dry camping. Many areas to choose from. Must buy pass at checkin station as you come in to camp, use dump, and fill water ($180/6mo or $40/2wk). Dont buy pass online since they need a printed copy and will make you fill out the info again. Some spots with views of river. People were very friendly and very few generators (most ran 1-2hrs if used). 1-3 bars of Verizon (sometimes slowed at peak times but usually enough to stream video). This is a good refuge from the dusty madness in Quartzsite during busy times. Note that the area surrounding the lake is also paid use ($75/yr or $15/nt) with dump and water privileges. (From/to Yuma, use hwy 95 as the road along the river is awful, and there's a narrow, weight-limited bridge on Penitentiary).

Busy Intersection

Located at the intersection of several gravel roads. Florida Flats containers 3 camping area. East, North, and South. Camping spots are varied in shape and size and levelness. Cell signal of moderate level.
