It is now a KOA Journey as of Nov, 2025. There is still improvements being made. We booked for 1 month $450 + elect. Staff was friendly, the Manager Teresa needs to be a little more accommodating. When we first arrived she told us our RV was too large (34') while there were 40' on premises. So she found a site for us and made us take off potty wagon & hitch off at the office or she couldn't park us. The site #157 had a big tree so we were glad for the shade but it was too close to the RV and we couldn't open the awning to stop droppings of berries and birds. Behind us was a privacy fence that divided a permanent RV campground. The person behind us had 3 dogs 1 barked all the time. I asked the Teresa to move us and she refused even though there were sites available, the month we couldn't enjoy outside time. Stay away from sites # 156/157/158.

Winter Layover

Great monthly rates, excellent dog groomer on site. Not on the highway. Sites are level with cement patio. Pretty Central for all Yuma services. Rustic charm. Mail service available. Good laundry facility. No pool or restroom shower facility. Very nice and helpful owner, manager. I would definitely come back.

Be sure about your booking

We booked in for 3 days, wanted to stay another week as our atv was getting repaired and they had to order parts. Woman said we had to go, even though there were 6 empty spots. Asked about those "they are only for overnighters." We left and booked a full week at another park. She's either dumb or just doesn't want to make money. Says pets allowed but only in certain spots, she isn't fond of people with dogs. NO WIFI, no cable, has water, sewer was under the RV and had to access. The people are nice but honestly just go some where else.

Gave 3 stars only because it is not an upscale facility. A good layover park. Some interstate noise close by and you will hear a train whistle from time to time but not bad. Price is very good for 50 amp, water, sewer. Paid $86 for 3 nights. Visiting an Algadones dentist. Will be back next year for annual dentist exam.
