Sweet Spot

Stayed here during a windstorm. Nice place. Too bad it's so windy. Lots of goat heads, so beware if you have dogs. The paved sites are mostly free of goat heads. Not completely level. There is a restroom. No potable water, no electric, but garbage. Showers do not work. The views are very nice. You can see I-40, but not hear it.

We stopped for the night only one in the campground paved sites paved roads no hook ups $15 a night worth every penny beautiful sunset

A Nice Find!

A nice, free campground by water a few miles SE of Winslow. Some paved and some dirt sites with no to limited services except restrooms. Certainly not a high end park, and infrastructure is tired but a pleasant free place to park for a night or two. Can get trashy from day use. Good birding by the water.
