Come for the Sandhill Cranes, they are worth a visit even if you don't stay here. Best viewing is October-March, morning just at sunrise as hundreds of birds head out to local farm fields to feed. Then again in evening from a half hour before sunset to total darkness as they return to roost. You'll hear them all night, it's wonderful. 4-5 sites, nice views, no hookups, water, or dump. Also, free for max of Three days.
