Nice Spot
Arrived on a Tues mid day and had lots of first come first serve spots available. Did not even look at the reserve loop. Later we walked it and discovered many spots available there also, reserved for Thurs but available Tues for instance. Road noise from Hwy 89 during the day, very quiet at night. Large sites, very private. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The 2020 fire missed this campground and it is as scenic as always. Much nicer sites than the commercial nearby Kaibab Camper village.

Nice Campground
This was a really nice campground. Awesome camp hosts. They keep the pit bathrooms really clean. Sell firewood at $7.00 a bundle if you need it bit we just drove around and found some. I had a pop up camper and saw some longer RVs in there. I would guess about 30 footer would be about the longest. The reason for the 4 stars is the freeway right next to the campground is quite loud and its a pretty dusty place. Nothing the campground can do about that but it is something to keep in mind.

Comfortable...
Well run, Forest Service campground. Clean toilets, water available, nice tables, fire pits and basically nice, level sites. RRM is a good concessionaire and keeps things under control. Only drawbacks are some road noise from highway, so try to get a spot towards the West side, many sites are heavily reserved even when I was there in mid-September. Nice break from the heat of the canyons. Ponderosa pines are awesome!

Great Location With Nicest Hosts
This place is great for us in our rv. After a warm day at the canyon, you will love the forest breeze.

It was a great park! Very pretty. Fire pits, level site for our 40 ft MH, 45 miles to the North Rim

Roadside Basic Camping
Very close to what is a surprisingly busy highway. Noise from highway made worse by trucks pulling away from busy gas station immediately across from campground. Gravel pads not level requires leveling blocks or jacks on all sites, with some much worse than others. Clean pit toilets. Limited water. Quiet time 10 pm to 6 am. Even though reasonable at 20 bucks I wish we would have dry camped on one of the forest roads nearby.
