Tourists

Alaska State campgrounds are just what is advertised. Few amenities. When I go camping I am looking to get away from the rat race. The state campgrounds are just what we like. My hat is off to the park rangers, camp hosts and administrative folks that keep them safe, clean and afordable. We have stayed in four and driven through several other state campgrounds, all are great. Thank you Alaska State Parks. PS next time we visit the state please herd the mosquitoes to the open areas away from the campgrounds or feed them before we arrrive. Thanks
